Key Benefits of a Reverse Mortgage

Eliminate Required Monthly Payments
Unlike traditional mortgages, you are not required to make monthly principal and interest payments. You remain responsible for property taxes, homeowners insurance, and property maintenance.
Retain Full Title and Home Ownership
You stay on the title of your property and continue living in your home as your primary residence. The bank does not take title to your property.
FHA Government Protections
HECM loans are insured by the Federal Housing Administration. They are non-recourse loans, meaning you or your heirs will never owe more than the home is worth upon sale.
Flexible Payout Structures
Receive your proceeds as a lump sum, a growing line of credit that increases over time, regular monthly income disbursements, or any combination that fits your lifestyle.

Generally, homeowners age 62 and older (or age 55 and older under select proprietary reverse mortgage programs) who own their home outright or have substantial accumulated equity, and occupy the home as their primary residence.
